We are looking for housekeepers to join our team!
Shifts are 7:30am – 3:30pm, 2 on 4 off
Requirements:
Minimum of 1–2 years of professional cleaning or housekeeping experience
Experience using commercial cleaning equipment, including auto-scrubbers
Ability to speak, read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Strong communication and listening skills
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety procedures
WHMIS certification required (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Physically able to perform job duties, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and pushing cleaning equipment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Proof of full vaccination required
Must be legally eligible to work
About us: This heritage home will offer 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to offer funded beds but also has 32 private pay rooms available.
